At The Sourdough Stand, we delight in offering a self-serve experience with our unique baked goods. The Sourdough Stand is a charming mobile market stand tucked in one of the best neighborhoods (in my opinion, due to the BEST neighbors!) in Columbus, Ohio. Nestled between Galloway and Hilliard, you’ll find a weekly pop-up market in our front yard. Featuring fresh artisan breads and sweet treats, we’re a favorite among the local community and beyond.
Interested in having your own stand? Have items to sell? Flowers, Produce, Baked Goods? We can help you create a perfect setup with DIY plans or custom orders!
Want to learn how to make your own sourdough? I can help guide you! Purchase a sourdough starter here and I will send you all you need to get started, my favorite learning resources and a list of kitchen tools to acquire.

About Me:

Hi! I’m Melissa. I am a girl mom, wife, golden retriever mom and wannabe homesteader. I bake, build things, grow massive gardens and work full-time at Ohio State. I reside in Columbus, Ohio and grew up in rural Allen County – where my parents carried on the traditions of their parents – hard work, green thumbs, dirty hands, sweaty messes, tried & true recipes, family meals, baking together, building together and feeding everyone with love.
I’m a wellness junkie, and the most important thing, out of the 4 million health tips you can find on social media a day, is that taking care of your gut health is numero uno! Being a child of the 90’s I thought that carbs were bad – so when I discovered sourdough, it changed everything for me – carbs are actually badass – especially when they are packed with microbes you’ve grown and cared for, that help take care of your guts.
I am a serial creator, designer, explorer and always on a quest to learn and share new things. You will see this reflected in my menu of unique flavors and offerings.
Why a Sourdough Stand? I am wildly introverted. The thought of selling my goods at a Farmers Market is too much for me. Since I also balance a FT job, being a toddler mom and wife, and other ventures (CheekyVintageTees) I can stock my cart when I have time to bake all the things.
