1. Sourdough Starter Kit
If you have a baker in your life that has mastered everything but sourdough, pick up a sourdough starter from your favorite baker and this kit from Amazon that will provide everything they need to begin their sourdough journey.

2. Pressurized Steam Cleaner
$50
Flour. Gets. Every. Freaking. Where. If you are like me – you spend as much as time baking as you do cleaning. This pressurized steam cleaner uses zero chemicals, just the heat of water to deep clean cabinets, ovens, crevices, grout and more.

3. Silicone Oven Gloves
$26
Having safety or heat protection gloves that actually fit, were so life changing for me. I can handle piping hot breads and dishes and feel like my grip is secure enough that I will not drop items or burn myself. I like how high these go up on my arms. They come in three sizes … 1 size does not fit all! (S, M, L) I use a medium and still get them on and off quickly. One of my favorite buys in 2024. They are so much easier to keep clean that those yucky cloth ones!

4. Air Purifier for Kitchen
$109 (with a 10% off coupon)
When you are working with flour, it gets dusty. There is a condition called bakers lungs, its real, google it, from exposure to lung irritants like flour and grain dust! It also helps remove smells from the air (though what’s the harm in having your home like a bakery 24/7? ha!) I have this jowset purifier sitting in between my dining and kitchen, that was easy to set up with an app. It’s quiet and a powerful. This particular model will scrub a 3000 sq ft space.

5. Finishing Salts Gift Pack
$29-36
Gustus Vitae has some of the best seasonings I’ve ever used. One of my secret ingredients in my sourdough rolls and sourdough focaccia are these finishing salts. They make all the difference in that first bite. My favorite to use in just about anything, is the crystalized honey salt – salty and sweet all in one bite. Apparently Oprah has good taste as well, as they are one of her favorite things, too! They have lots of gift sets or you can purchase them in single packs – they also have a magnet on the bottom, so you can attach them to magnet strips or side of fridge.

6. Cordless Back Pain Relief
$40
I’m not sure why counters are at the height they are, the slight bend for all day bake days, kill my 40 year old back – not ergonomic by any means. After a long day in the bakery you will find me on a heating pad – but since my toddler doesn’t let me sit for very long, I will use this instead to chase her while providing comfort to aches and pains. I think it is also FSA eligible, so if you have funds you need to use so you don’t lose, it’s a great gift option (I also work in HR Benefits… can you tell? ha!)

7. Meal Kits
Gift Cards Available
Your baker loves to be in the kitchen, but sometimes it’s so nice to be able to focus on baking creatively and not have to worry about “what’s for dinner?” I’ve tried every meal kit service out there – Purple Carrot, Blue Apron, Hello Fresh, and every other one that has popped up and fizzled out. My favorite for cost, quality and choice is Home Chef. I get a few boxes a month to help ease my mental load of planning and execution. Get 18 free meals when you use this link to sign up yourself.

8. Pretty Aprons
$10
I have a penchant for ruining clothes with my sourdough dough. I forget to throw on an apron or my only apron is in the wash and my tops get trashed. Get your baker a cute apron that goes with their style or brand. I love all of the colors these come in.

9. Silicone Countertop Mat
$38
You’ve seen pastry mats that are the size of long rolling pins, but they just do not cut it, when you are making a big bake. I want to cover my entire counter, mostly because I make a big mess, so this mat is on my list. 48″ x 24″ or larger, these mats are incredibly huge, heat resistant and help make clean up easy.

10. Kitchen Sneakers
$99
Being on your feet all day can kick your body’s booty. What you wear on your feet impacts how you back, knees and neck feel after a long day. These gravity shoes help support arches and keep pressure off of your heels while you bake. Though they are orthopedic like, they come in cute colors – and if you only wear them indoors, who cares what color they are, ha!
